Lynda Roberts studied textile design at the Glasgow School of Art.
Following graduation Lynda took her talents across the sea to Canada where she shared her artistic flair, followed by a varied and interesting career teaching art at a number of schools on the Wirral.
Inspired by travel;
Lynda's large scale, rich layered multi-media collages feature both the architectural environment and the natural landscape.
Bold, colourful geometric tiling and intricate carvings of the Alhambra Palace, Granada;
Exotic beautiful plants in the elegant Victorian Palm House in Sefton Park Liverpool.
From Venice, textural and colourful Venetian Gothic architecture and canals; Spiritual temples and domestic dwellings in the remote uplands of Nepal and closer to home the rocky shores of Bardsey Island,  North Wales.
Lynda is a member of the very active Oxton Artists Group who's annual feature exhibition takes place each Autumn in architecturally important
Williamson Art Gallery and Museum Slatey Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside, and The Bluecoat Display Centre, Liverpool.
Lynda will be exhibiting at Up-Front Gallery, Cumbria again in the future.
