Lynda Roberts studied textile design at the Glasgow School of Art.
Following graduation Lynda took her talents across the sea to Canada where she shared her artistic flair, followed by a varied and interesting career teaching art at a number of schools on the Wirral. |
Inspired by travel;
Lynda's large scale, rich layered multi-media collages feature both the architectural environment and the natural landscape. Bold, colourful geometric tiling and intricate carvings of the Alhambra Palace, Granada; Exotic beautiful plants in the elegant Victorian Palm House in Sefton Park Liverpool. From Venice, textural and colourful Venetian Gothic architecture and canals; Spiritual temples and domestic dwellings in the remote uplands of Nepal and closer to home the rocky shores of Bardsey Island, North Wales and Scotland's West Coast. |
Lynda is a member of Oxton Artists Group who's annual exhibition takes place each Autumn here in Wirral's
